Sydney Marathon is now a World Marathon Major, offering one of the most scenic and challenging courses in global running.

The Sydney Marathon, held annually in late August, has officially joined the elite ranks of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, alongside New York, London, and Tokyo. The 2025 edition welcomed over 33,000 finishers from 100+ countries, making it a truly global celebration of endurance and community.

Starting in North Sydney, the course crosses the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, winds past landmarks like Hyde Park, Centennial Park, and finishes at the Sydney Opera House. With hilly climbs, warm weather, and vibrant crowd support from over 300,000 spectators, it’s both a scenic spectacle and a true test of resilience.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or running for a cause, Sydney delivers an unforgettable experience—where every step echoes with history, culture, and the spirit of transformation.

The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is the seventh Abbott World Marathon Major and one of the most spectacular! Run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses, taking in Sydney’s most beautiful and historic landmarks, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

The course changes implemented in recent years are designed to meet expectations, ensuring a world-class route that matches the standards expected by both the community and participants.

    The rates do not include:

    • Flight tickets to Sydney

    • Visa fee for Australia

    • Airport–hotel–airport transfers

    • Other meals besides breakfast at the hotel

    Extra information:

    • The accommodation period in Sydney is 27.08–01.09.2026, but it can be modified upon request if necessary.

    • The entry fee for the Sydney Marathon is included and cannot be booked separately from the package.

Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 800 Euro per runner and 500 Euro per non-runner

  • Balance: The remaining amount must be paid by 15.05.2026

 

Cancellation Terms

  • The deposit of 1,000 Euro per runner is non-refundable.

  • Until April 2026, changes to the participant list can be made. If you cannot attend, we will try to resell your place, but this cannot be guaranteed.

  • After 15.04.2026, no changes can be made and the cancellation fee is 100%.
