For the glory, for the fun. Carpathia Trails is a mountain-running festival at Complex Cheile Grădiștei in Fundata, in the Rucăr–Bran corridor between the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi massifs. Now in its 6th edition, it brings together six individual races across three mountains — the Bucegi, Piatra Craiului and Leaota — from a 6 km trail to the 102 km UltraTrails.
With more than 1,200 runners and over 100 volunteers, there’s a distance for every level, all from the same base at Cheile Grădiștei. Run it with Explore Sport: entry, mountain-base accommodation and full race-week logistics handled, so all you focus on is the trail.

What distances are there?
Six races across three massifs: Cheile Gradiștei 6K, Fundata Trails 23K, Leaota Trails 36K, Piatra Craiului Trails 45K, Bucegi Trails 57K and the Carpathia UltraTrails 102K — plus a 57K team relay and a kids’ race.
Where does it take place?
At Complex Cheile Grădiștei in Fundata, in the scenic Rucăr–Bran corridor between the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains — a short drive from Bran.
