Azuga Trail Race is old-school mountain running in the Baiu mountains above the resort town of Azuga, in the northern Prahova Valley. Seven trails, from a family run to the 29 km L30, climb through beech and pine forest to grassy ridges — including the punishing haul up the Sorica slope — with views over the Bucegi, Postăvaru and Piatra Mare. Seven trails climb through beech and pine forest to grassy, wind-swept ridges — including the punishing haul up the Sorica ski slope — with sweeping views over the Bucegi, Postăvaru and Piatra Mare.
