Bușteni Ultra Race is a weekend of mountain running on the Bucegi and Baiului ridges, high above the resort town of Bușteni. Five races share the same start and finish in the centre of town — from a 2.1 km sprint to the 69.5 km Prahova Ultra, the long ones climbing to Vârful Omu at 2,507 m. Race weekend 4–5 June 2027.

Five races share the same start and finish in the centre of town — from a short 2.1 km up-and-down to the 69.5 km Prahova Ultra, with the long courses climbing to Vârful Omu, at 2,507 m the highest point of the Bucegi.

What distances are there?
Five races share the same start and finish in town: Kalinderu Up & Down (2.1 km), Bușteni Cross (10.1 km), Baiului Trails (31.7 km), Bucegi Marathon (40.7 km) and the Prahova Ultra (69.5 km, +3,775 m D+). The long courses climb to Vârful Omu, 2,507 m.

It’s a genuine mountain race on the Bucegi and Baiului ridges — big climbs, technical trails and high-altitude passages, up to 2,507 m on the ultra.
