The EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is one of the fastest and most scenic half marathons in the world. Held annually in early March, it is part of the prestigious SuperHalfs series alongside Cardiff, Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, and Valencia. The 2026 edition will welcome more than 30,000 runners, including thousands of international athletes, making it a truly global celebration of endurance. The race begins on the iconic 25th of April Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the Tagus River, and finishes in front of the UNESCO‑listed Jerónimos Monastery in Belém. With its flat, point‑to‑point course, cool spring weather, and vibrant atmosphere, Lisbon is a favorite for personal bests and elite performances. Beyond the race, the event transforms the city into a festival of sport, culture, and community, attracting runners, families, and spectators alike. Event Overview

The EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is part of the international IAAF Gold Label Road Race circuit and is recognized as the world’s fastest half marathon. With less than 40 m of elevation gain and a straightforward two‑loop course, it is the perfect playground for time trials.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, the race attracts 35,000 participants from elites to first‑time runners. The unforgettable course begins with a crossing of the 25 de Abril Bridge and finishes near the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, offering both speed and scenery. Lisbon has twice hosted the half marathon world record (2000, 2010, 2021), making it a prime opportunity for personal bests.

Day 01 – Arrival in Lisbon

  • Arrival and transfer to hotel.

  • Free afternoon to relax or stroll through Lisbon.

Day 02 – Expo & City Discovery

  • Morning transfer to Expo for race kit collection.

  • Free time to explore Lisbon’s neighborhoods and prepare for race day.

  • Experience: Kit collection & city discovery

Day 03 – Race Day

  • Start at 09:00 AM for the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon.

  • Scenic course along the River Tagus, crossing the 25 de Abril Bridge and finishing near Mosteiro dos Jerónimos.

  • Evening group dinner at Lisbon Time Out Market for socializing with fellow runners.

Day 04 – Departure

Runner in DBL room 425 Euro The rates include guaranteed entry for Lisbon Half Marathon, 3 nights accommodation with breakfast in a 4-star hotel in Lisbon. The rate per runner in a DBL room is valid if you share the room with another runner or with an accompanying person.

For single runners travelling to Lisbon, we can offer an SGL room or check the availability to share the room with another runner, but we cannot guarantee this possibility.

  • Remaining balance: payable no later than 15 January 2026

  • The €250 deposit is non‑refundable.

  • It covers accommodation cancellation penalties and the full race registration fee.

  • More than 31 days before the trip: penalty €250

  • Less than 30 days before the trip: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
