PRAGUE MARATHON 2027
2 MAY 2027
The Vodafone Prague Marathon is one of Europe’s most iconic marathons — 42.195 km through a thousand years of history. A World Athletics Elite Label race, it starts and finishes on Old Town Square, crosses the Vltava over six bridges (Charles Bridge included), and passes Prague Castle, the National Theatre and the Dancing House. With its flat, fast course and cool spring conditions it is a favourite for personal bests, while cobbled lanes and the medieval skyline turn race day into a journey through one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. The 2027 edition takes place on Sunday, 2 May 2027, and every runner can register through our travel agency with a guaranteed entry.
The race starts and finishes in the heart of Prague, on Old Town Square. Within the first kilometres runners cross Charles Bridge — closed to the public for the race — with Prague Castle watching over the cobbled streets of the old town.
The route then follows the banks of the Vltava past the National Theatre and the Dancing House, runs through the Powder Tower, along Na Příkopě and up Wenceslas Square, and crosses six bridges ten times before returning to the finish on Old Town Square.
