CARDIFF HALF MARATHON 2026

4 OCTOBER 2026

The Cardiff Half Marathon is one of the UK’s largest and most popular road races, and a proud member of the SuperHalfs series alongside Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Valencia. Held annually in early October, it attracts tens of thousands of runners from across the globe. The 2026 edition will welcome more than 27,000 participants, making it the second‑largest half marathon in the UK after the Great North Run. Starting outside Cardiff Castle, the course takes runners past the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay, the Norwegian Church, Roath Park Lake, and finishes in the heart of the city. With its flat, fast route, cool autumn weather, and vibrant Welsh crowd support, Cardiff offers both a chance at personal bests and a cultural journey through one of Europe’s most welcoming capitals. Whether you’re chasing a record, running for charity, or soaking in the atmosphere, the Cardiff Half Marathon delivers an unforgettable experience—where every stride echoes with resilience, unity, and celebration.
